After many years working as an independent contractor for the large shutter companies, Jim decided to begin the company in hopes of being able to offer better quality products and prices for residential homes. Many of his installations were big government projects such as Memorial Pembroke Hospital, Broward County Jail, and University of Miami. He has seen countless failed inspections, and noticed that there is a decline of work quality once hurricane season starts, and shutter companies hire unqualified installers to handle large work loads.
